1) Who Does Your Hair?
I do. A dab of gel mixed with a little wind while sticking my head out the window of a moving car and I’m ready to go.
2) Who Owns This Site?
It’s currently owned and operated by my employer, Cataco, Inc., which was incorporated in New York State in 2000. Around the office, we refer to Cataco as “Corporate." You can view our company organization chart here. (If you choose to visit one of the cat-centric sites, don’t say I didn’t warn you. I think Jester is planning a hostile take-over.)
3) What Exactly Is Your Job?
I’m the Whisker Gifters Director of Dog Stuff. I make sure that the Birthday Club for Dogs, Birthday Gifts for Dogs and Holiday Gifts for Dogs websites contain the very best content and products. I also make sure that my assistants Jupiter, Sassy and Petey, are working diligently on your behalf.
4) When and How Can I Contact You?
Unlike Jester, the Whisker Gifters Director of Cat Stuff, who only wants to work about an hour a day, I am gladly and cheerfully in my office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET. If I'm taking care of a customer and am unable to take your call, leave a message and I'll call you back as soon as I can. 5) How Can I Place an Order?
Online: My ecommerce sites use a secure shopping cart to process orders. (Click here to see how we secure our sites.) You can place an order 60 seconds a minute, 60 minutes an hour, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
By mail: My sites contain a link to a printable order form that you can print out and complete by paw. Once it’s ready, mail it to Whisker Gifters, 24 Main St., Second Floor, Port Washington, NY 11050.
By phone: You can call me at 1-800-558-4991 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. If I can’t reach the phone, please leave a message on my voicemail.
6) What Are My Payment Options?
I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. I’m sorry to say Corporate no longer allows me to accept retrieved sticks as payment. Please remember that all credit card transactions will list Cataco, Inc. (Corporate), not Whisker Gifters, as the vendor.
7) How Much Will Shipping Set Me Back?
Orders over $75.00 ship FREE via DHL, UPS, the Wells Fargo Wagon, FedEx, the USPS or Pony Express, whichever is the least expensive. Shipping charges on other amounts are based on the order total and are visible as you add items to your shopping cart. Shipping charges are as follows:

For orders placed prior to 5pm ET: Fast shipping should arrive in 4-7 business days. Faster shipping should arrive in 3-6 business days. Fastest shipping should arrive in 2-3 business days. Note that we ship from Port Washington, NY., so Fast orders shippping to the Northeast should arrive in 2-3 business days.
8) Will I Have to Pony Up Sales Tax?
If the delivery address is within New York State, sales tax of 8.5% will be collected.
9) Where Did the Phrase "Pony Up" Originate?
I’m not sure. But some of my friends who live on farms are very lucky because they have ponies.
10) Is a Deposit Required on Personalized Items?
A 50% deposit (charged to a credit card or PayPal) is required on all personalized items when the order is placed. The balance is charged when the item ships.
11) What Is Your Return Policy?
It's up to my staff and me to make sure we accurately photograph and describe the products we offer for sale. If you feel a photo or description has not accurately represented the item you’ve purchased, return it. A non-personalized item should be returned within 60 days of receipt. If you have the original packing material and the receipt, repack the item and send it to the address below. If you do not have the original packing material and/or the receipt, pack the item carefully and write your name, address, phone number and email address on a sheet of paper and enclose it with the item. In either case, be sure to let us know if you would like us to exchange the item or provide a refund. If you would like to return a personalized item, I would appreciate it if you would call me at 1-800-558-4991 as soon as possible. I may then ask for your help in determining how we can do our jobs better.
The bottom line of our return policy is this: If an item is not exactly what you expected, send it back COD. All returns should be sent to Whisker Gifters, 24 Main St., Second Floor, Port Washington, NY 11050.
12) What If My Order Arrives Damaged?
Do not, I repeat, do not bite the delivery person. It probably wasn’t his or her fault. Send an email to baron@whiskergifters.com or call me at 1-800-558-4991. I'll make sure a replacement is sent or your money is refunded right away.
13) How Do I Use My Discount Code?
Enter the Discount Code when requested during checkout. I’ll make sure the correct amount is deducted.
14) How Can I Update My Account?
When you join one of my clubs or buy from me, you will be asked to choose a password. You can then update any and all information you have provided by logging into your account any time it is convenient for you.
15) Who Wrote the Testimonials?
The very clever and talented employees of Cataco, Inc. have written all testimonials attributed to dogs. The testimonials are intended for entertainment purposes only, not as product endorsements, and are not meant to mislead anyone about any of the products or services offered on this site. Testimonials written by employees of Cataco, Inc. will always have an illustration of a dog next to the text. The names of the dogs have been made up. The cities in which the made-up dogs live are real. Cataco, Inc. testimonials will look like this:
"I joined a few birthdays ago. It's amazing how quickly the dog years go by as you get older." Sparky P. - Kansas City, MO
A testimonial supplied by an actual customer, either canine or human, will be edited for space only and will not have a photo associated with it.
16) What Is the Value of the Free Dog Toy or Dog Treat?
The free item will be small and inexpensive.
